I nominate "Columbusing."
I'm not normally an undercover boss watcher but I caught this last night when my wife changed the channel to something other than football (but it's week 17!). I was one of the folks live tweeting the experience, dumbfounded that it was real. It was like something the Onion would produce. Last night their Facebook…
You are right about that. It was written with very little effort and a knowledge that a movie adaptation deal was a guarantee no matter how poorly written the book was.
Your criticism that we don't get to know Zamperini as a person is a valid criticism of the book, as well. It's poorly written, in brief sentences that matter-of-factly report sequences of events (some of those "facts" are also a bit hard to swallow). Seriously, what the heck is wrong with you people? Where did I say I would not expect to get these games on local TV? I just said the games suck.
Except I didn't say it makes no sense, tough guy.
Where is the commentary about which market is getting screwed this week? That is the best part of this column. Living in Orlando, as I sadly admit that I do, the networks feel obligated to get as much Jags, Bucs, AND Dolphins games on local TV as possible.
Lions and Falcons will be in the NFC Championship this year. So, your complaint is clearly invalid.
This video is fucking lame. You thought it deserved a spot on Deadspin's front page?
