So that's what a Pinterest divorce looks like.

I was denied a promotion directly because I wasn't pretty enough. That was literally the reason I was given. Oh how I wish I had the confidence at 19 that I do at 30...but alas I just nodded my head and went on with my work. At my last job we dealt with a vendor from another state and alllll the dudes loved her.

The NY Times did a piece on the real Special Victims unit, which is almost all male these days. One of these guys said that if a victim asks for a female detective, “Nine times out of ten," it's because she thinks she can fool a female easier than she can a male, ergo....she's lying. I can't imagine why a female

As long as they are heavyweight enough to be opaque, I will let you call them pants. It's when they are see-through in the ass that they turn into underwear and should be worn under a long shirt or skirt or dress, etc.

The see-through part is my problem as well. I teach (albeit in college) and students regularly wear leggings to my class. Paired with shorts or a cute skirt they can look quite nice. The only time it really stands out to me is when a student is wearing leggings that are too thin or too small, and therefore

Leggings are tights without feet.

Yes.

I'm very anti-legging as pants. It has nothing to do with it being distracting to anyone, it has everything to do with the fact that they aren't pants! They are often see-through, and just not appropriate to be worn alone as pants. More so people are wearing them with tops that don't even cover their asses. Yes, I'm

Am I allowed to think that this policy is sexist and dumb, but also think that leggings are not pants?

White people DO like farmer's markets.

Cue influx of people who don't understand how racism and institutional power works in 3, 2, 1....

Watergate and Vietnam and 80's paranoia all happening in a very short (relatively speaking) period, combined with the idea of American individualism, basically. Seriously. There have been studies done looking at the confidence in government over the last century or so, and in the US it takes a nose dive right after

There is no reason not to have all four 3rd molars extracted in one procedure. The most danger comes from the general anesthesia, so having to be put under only once would be preferable to having to be put under multiple times.

"Ugh, what is going on?"

When I had my wisdom teeth removed, I opted to be put under. At some point during the procedure, I woke up. I remember looking up at the surgeon and hearing him say, "Are you OK, sweetheart?" followed by him muttering to the nurse something like, "Give me 20ccs of mrphhmrphhh........." Aaaand I was back out.

Da fuque?!

While I wouldn't go as far as boycotting it, as a female fan of AC since back when it was only a twinkle in the developers' eyes, I find the comments to this reply pretty disgusting.

Actually explain how it doesn't, because men are usually the default gender of most characters, that doesn't make the game better either.

In fact, the past generation has showed us just how little creativity comes to characters in general, here, let me give you an example.

So ask yourself the following question "why is male always the default gender for characters?" and then get back to me.

And don't tell me its because men make up the largest % of the gaming population because that is not true, not anymore.
