Generally speaking, you don’t eat out if you’re watching your caloric intake, and definitely not at The Cheesecake Factory. Even if I eat half of my entree’, it still means I’m pigging-out. Plus, my whole reason for going to CF (and it’s been about 8 year because I know longer live near one) is to have cheesecake, so

What? Too much cheese? That’s commie talk!

I’ve begun to eat out less often but better - spend more money when I do go out, and less of the mediocre “easier than cooking” eating out.  I enjoy it a whole lot more too - it is once again a special occasion to go out to eat.  For a while I ate out three or four times a week, but you could do that for $80 with

You mean you didn’t need several paragraphs of pointless blather to make the stunning case that restaurants like money?

Restaurants, you do what you need to do to make your business work, and I’m going going to order in a way that makes sense for me. If we don’t see eye to eye, that’s OK, I’ll just go somewhere else.

One minute it’s better to eat at home and another it’s cheaper to dine out

If they don’t want people to share items, then they should reduce the portion sizes. I ate out a fair amount while traveling over Christmas, and there were several times where I just could not finish my entree despite being quite hungry beforehand. As I was traveling, I couldn’t take leftovers home with me, so it was

I love your work. But did this need an article?

It suddenly came to me how we know that “Linda” is dead. Roy has obsessed over Dot leaving him for years. No one leaves Roy. So why no similar obsession & search for Linda? Because he killed her long ago.

I was pretty sure it was a dream, but I thought she’d wake up in a ditch, having nodded off again and run off the road.

I liked the puppet show and thought it was a creative way to tell Dot’s backstory. Seeing that really set up the giant pit of nausea in my stomach at the end when Roy showed up in the hospital. Is the dream sequence a little overdone at this point? Sure. But it worked here.

I was totally fooled. And really bored by Camp Utopia and the Lindas.

Interestingly, I’ve seen both the Hershey’s Kisses bell commercial and the M&Ms “He does exist!” commercial as upscaled YouTube ads this year, both of which were playing ad nauseam when I was a kid in the mid 90s.

It’s got crushed wafers too so it’s almost like they’re trying a tiramisu knockoff but didn’t get all the way there.

Now playing

Fact: The best Christmas commercial is the one with the Hershey kisses as bell-ringers performing “We Wish You a Merry Christmas.” Fact!

My current favorite is the “Dementia Grandma” Chevy is presently running. Having lost my mother to this horrible disease, years before she actually passed, I would have given almost anything for just one more “good day” at Christmas.

Yes, it’s just a chocolate layer cake.

I did like the first one, though I don’t remember much of it. Momoa as Aquaman is one of the better casting decisions in the DCU (Gal Gadot is the other one).  Glad to hear this one is fun - though that’s not reason enough for me to pony up theater money. I’ll catch it eventually,

I’m still upset that they continually CG Jason Momoa’s head onto footage of my body. I mean, I’m flattered but they didn’t ask.

If only there was a website dedicated to reviewing these kinds of shows and helping them to reach and engage with the kind of audience they deserve
