When I was working in the office, I took my lunch in a little cooler, specifically the Coleman FlipLid Personal Cooler. It was big enough for a frozen entree, fruit and a soda, or sandwich, chips and soda. I also used a reusable polar ice pack. I didn’t even put my food in the fridge when I got to work (you never know…

I pre-rinse because I live alone and run my dishwasher like once a week, so I don’t want funky smells coming from the dishwasher.

Honestly, I’ve always differentiated by drive-thru (fast food) or no drive-thru (fast casual). And I guess the packaging of the food? Fast food tends to come in paper wrappers where fast casual can be served on a plate by a server, like you mentioned.

I feel like a fast food meal for one person shouldn’t cost more than $10. If it does, then you’re getting into fast casual territory, and you could get better food.
