It's definitely one of my 'listen on release day' podcasts, but it's very rarely a 'listen all the way to the end' podcast.

I just found my copy of Bio-Hazard Battle! Apparently it's worth £40 on eBay, that's £15 clear profit in just 23 years since I bought it for £25 in Woolworths, nice.
I tried to buy Primal Rage on Mega Drive from a second hand game shop in about 2000 because I remembered it being great in arcades, but the guy in the shop refused to sell it to me because he thought it was so bad.
I've always been a big Sega fan (having been given a Master System for Christmas instead of the NES that I asked for and then soon realising that the Mega Drive had already been out for 4 years and our parents were duping us) but all the game series I most loved were in genres that don't translate to 3D all that well.
I am in the UK, that does seem like a sign..
I had been playing on PC since it came out but just picked it up on PS4, I found the control scheme bizarre and unwieldy and I do have to sit close to the TV like a neglected child, but it's still great fun (fun?).

I really hope so! I bought a Wii U, played Mario all the way through with my wife, we both loved it, experienced proper, rare, videogame joy, then.. I sold it. I should have hung on until BotW but we couldn't justify having it sat around that long. I will absolutely pick up a Switch in a year or so and I really hope…
Yeah.. Also didn't do it for me.. Am I completely alone in just not getting much out of that series? It just seemed too generic in character for me to want to sink any time into and I'm sure I'm missing a lot by giving up, but I don't have the time to devote really.
I've had a PS4 for about 6 months now but haven't found an actual next-gen-fancy graphics game that I've really enjoyed, I'm still almost exclusively playing Spelunky and Darkest Dungeon on it, games which I was playing on PC before I bought the console. I am terrible at both of them but I love them so much! I never…
