lets be fair thought they are in two different categorizes at this point. The vette is a sports car bordering on super car performance. The GT500 is still a barn burning muscle car.

answer is money and weight. its your basic logistics. A parachute is a lot cheaper and a lot lighter to get into space and to mars than say the SpaceX grasshopper system. If you wanted to use the grasshopper you would need to add more fuel to get it off the ground which adds more weight which needs more fuel.

why are they still using a secondary screen out side of the new frames? the camera should be integrated right into the body of the glasses and the HUD on the glasses its self
