I feel as if motorcycle riders and people who live on streets on which people ride motorcycles have very different definitions of “quiet.” To the others, yes, Harley does push loudness as part of its brand. It worked for a very, very long time. It doesn’t much work anymore.

Holy crap, 100% accurate

She “made a mistake.” Then she made it again. Then she got angry for being called out for it. Then she repeatedly denied what the mistake actually was. Then she doubled down some more.

Sleepy Hollow is a beautiful, atmospheric movie that is fairly dull. Watchable enough that I owned it on DVD years ago, but felt like a missed opportunity.

I rented this one, and recall being so excited for it.

The police put out a photo from 2018. Transient, but has hair plugs?

By “a lot,” mostly drugs. If I recall, this isn’t the first time he’s disappeared, though it certainly does not sound good that he either gave his items away, or someone has them and is claiming he did.

The point isn’t the show, I could have named any show. The point is that Comedy Central, and I’d assume most Viacom channels, speed up their programs to put in more commercials. They speed it up to the point that the voices are higher pitched.

And, on Adult Swim, they actually reduced the commercials. Or increased the time but reduced the amount of cuts. Not sure which, never actually stopped and paid close enough attention, but it seemed as if there was only one break at the 15 minute mark, and the other breaks they’d power through (you could almost always

The other guy is right. Look at the Wikipedia article you posted. If you’re not willing to call singles “cheese,” you shouldn’t call any American cheese “cheese.” If you’re drawing the line, just do it where the government does, and to the government, no American cheese is cheese. It’s all cheese product.

I agree with the premise, but The Daily News is the wrong example. PE has been gutting American businesses for decades. TRU is the ultimate example at the moment - PE firms took it with an LBO, leveraged it I believe 10x, then took a millions-a-year management fee on top of it. TRU couldn’t pay the debt payment, plus

I once watched That 70s Show on Comedy Central. The show was so sped up the voices were higher pitched and everything felt off. So nope. Not that I'd watch at 3:40 am, whereas I would at 8, but no sped up shows for me. No channel that speeds up shows. No channel that starts at 40 instead of 30, either. This is why I'm

For real?

Split Second is absolutely juvenile humor, nudity, and graphic violence. There’s a reason that was one of my favorite episodes when I was 10 or whatever.

Right?!

Id never heard the Tom Holland rumors. That makes so much sense. But it’d be better if he were a few years older.

I’m with you. I won’t activate it, because I’d prefer Samsung’s marketing metrics continue to show a high % of users who own a Bixby-enabled phone but haven’t set Bixby up.

Ok, here’s the thing, he’s not an employee, he’s the CEO. He’s the figurehead of the business. If a guy making pizzas in a back room says it, that’s bad. When the CEO says it to his agency, in a meeting designed to prove he’s not a racist, that’s a disaster. He’s the face of the business, and his own agency fired him

I don’t know Joe Walsh, but his tweets today are all pretty excellent. Commending Mueller, condemning Roger Stone, and angry at people who aren’t celebrating Mueller.

Saying a silent prayer that the new owners get rid of the Deals and Videos. Or at least de-emphasize them. I’m sure the affiliate fees bring in money, and the videos can be syndicated (but are they?!) but those are the two big reasons why I come here less frequently than prior. I feel like a solid third of the time I
