I’ve said it here before, but I expected the last one to be a creatively bankrupt shitshow and ended up with a huge grin on my face both times I watched it.

This was one of my favorite first seasons of a show in a long time:

As a correction, and as an ex learned, Brazil visas can’t be had in a matter of minutes. The minimum time is 4 days. Bad news when your girlfriend, who booked her trip on a whim, finds out literally hours before leaving for the airport.

Gen 2 is not worth the buy if you care about colors, so thanks for the call-out. Gen 2 has a wider range than Gen 1, but is still pitifully limited. They can’t do green or blue well (in some cases, at all)

12.5 to 1! TRU was 10:1 I believe, same with Gibson. One is gone, the other bankrupt. And trump, of course, is rolling back protections.

God, I hated this movie, for the reasons mentioned. My friends loved it and started discussing movies less with me.

Humorless slogs kill so many shows I would otherwise enjoy. Westworld is one of the few humorless shows I didn’t find a slog, but it definitely needed more levity.

Yeah, that’s one movie. Is the entire of Fangoria going to cover one movie? Especially given that it was an extreme rarity, crowd-funded specifically for using practical effects, hitting its goal because it’s the only movie trying to do this. No one is jumping to follow its lead.

I’m tempted to subscribe, but honestly, do the movies Fangoria covered even exist anymore? We don’t get awesome monster horror. We don’t get really cool puppets and makeup to photograph. We don’t get any of this, except maybe direct-to-video junk.

Terrible episode. Two funny Ash lines, but no other good jokes. The over the top tone is gone, and even the random deaths weren’t funny. Yet the evil and plot the fun has been sacrificed for feels meaningless.

No we don’t. Ex-spare-a-mint. Not spear. And I’ve never heard that A in Spearmint or Soy.

I’ll miss him. I wasn’t a huge fan of the show (I mean, I enjoyed it, but it felt like a missed opportunity more often than not), and I feel as if this version of Ash was too often crude/lewd rather than just an arrogant dimwit (constructive complaint, not true complaint), but man, I love Campbell as Ash.
