In fairness, I grew up in a restaurant household. I’m actually hyper aware of whether we’re being jerks, or fair. I’m the one always trying to speed the table along after the check has come, to make sure we turn it over quick enough.

It’s possible that men and women are different, that society has historically treated them differently, that the problems and criticism they routinely face is different, and therefore you can’t have an easy apples-to-apples comparison.

You said you wished they’d stop grouping all Millenials together, because you’re different. The whole point of generations is to group them together based upon common traits. No one trait ties them all together, but it makes the whole distinct from other age groups.

The article is talking about trends. It does not say “all millenials do this,” so I do not understand your frustration. Factually, the generation cooks at home less. Individually, some may cook at home more, but in aggregate, it cooks less.
