The books go a bit deeper into what the show only hints at. Same with Jamie, who occasionally looks like he wants to be better in the show, but the book deals more with the self-loathing he has over his place in the world. Both characters seem unable to change how they're viewed, and lapse into figuring they should

I think it's just that, as winter comes, it gets cold enough for them to go beyond the wall.

I saw Converge about 17 or 19 times from 1999-2005. Tons of fun each and every time.

I almost fell for this. Allmost!

I thought he just was angry dtj didn't leak through him.

They're claiming "it" is nothing, because he gained nothing. Like, if you rob a bank but leave empty handed it's no crime.

And yet, people are widely calling this fake news.

Right? How much money can a Jake Busey possibly be? $20, $30 per diem, plus craft services?

Yeah, this is the first time I've read something on AVClub that wasn't marked as a sponsored post but certainly read like one. Too little snark, too much straight-forward facts. Feels like PR-approved copy.

No matter which band loses and gets sent to the moon in a rocket, the rest of us all win.

Remember, much of the fortune he stands on top of was obtained through crimes his father went to jail for.

Given that it had so many fewer episodes, having 3 that run up against the original says a lot. I'd call BB actually much better, though perhaps a bit less timeless, than BTAS. It felt more mature, not just because it had an edge to it (and it did), but because it took its audience more seriously.

Like many dudes under 25, I was really angry at Batman Beyond when it came out, as it was messing with my canon! It was different and confusing!

I mean, you're saying right there they didn't want to see it because it starred women. You're trying to further clarify, but still…

I've shown it to pretty much every girl I've dated since it came out. Weirdly, none liked it, even the ones that love the random gibberish I love (and almost never share.)

Cowardly watching it live, apparently

So, Machine Head is a pathetic excuse for a band, and The Burning Red is one of the worst albums ever made, somehow worse than a name that sounds like a venereal disease, but they put out a killer guitar solo in The Aesthetics of Hate.

I've said it before, and I'll say it again - it amazes me that, of all of 90s rock's big names, Trent Reznor seems to be the one to keep growing, get clean, get successful, and turn into a normal human being. Of all of 90s rock's big names, he was probably the most insane.

Yup

I always wondered how he got hired by Hooli if he knew nothing at all. If it's the equivalent of Google, that's nearly impossible.
