I don’t recall ever incinerating spider eggs.

They DIDN’T evolve from ducks. They both evolved from a common duck ancestor, naturally. The Hominiducks.
Not really it’s own “bit” but Good Idea/Bad Idea may have been my favorite thing about this show.
My personal favorite was “Good Idea/Bad Idea”- to my 8 year old brain, those segments were absolute PEAK comedy; I watch compilations every once in a while and feel the childhood warmth again.
To 9-12-year-old-me, Goodfeathers didn’t make much sense, because I didn’t know they were parodying Goodfellas. After finally watching that movie sometime in my 20's (good god, I feel old), everything fell into place.
Real talk, as a kid I hated Buttons and Mindy segments because Button'sife was miserable trying to protect Mindy and the parents, unaware of the hell he went through trying to do that, treated him like garbage.
Also: One of his collectible time capsules contains ticket stubs from when he and Phin went to see Dazzler and Lila Cheney in concert!
Weird. You’d think a spider-themed game would have hundreds of Easter eggs.
THIS... I keep hearing people complain about those cartoons not being there, and while I sometimes thought a short with one of them was actually good, they usually felt like filler to get to the good stuff. I too am glad they are not there.
The Mime is going to appear, albeit probably not in his own segments.
Hell, they could have easily had their cake and eat it too. Miles didn’t live in Harlem in the previous game. Have him love and/or be friends with the cops his dad worked with, but have the Harlem cops be the racist assholes. It would make so much sense.
Wouldn’t the same people that want to defund the police be against vigilantes? I don't know how can we root for Spider-Man in that context.
Also, what makes you think the cops in this universe are the same as cops in the real world? It’s plainly obvious that there haven’t been any massive riots or protests like in our world, since if there were, Peter would have gotten involved a lot sooner before Miles ever got his powers. Sure, some distrusted…
I don’t mind hope as the message. It’s why I like Superman and Star Trek, and am a little surprised why the fandom of both isn’t basically a Venn diagram of a single circle (assuming you like both mediums).
I just hope there aren’t any more Section 31 shenanigans here. Despite some of the writer’s best (and completely misguided) efforts, Section 31 isn’t some bold, cool group of pragmatists that let the naive Federation optimists sleep safely at night. They have been wrong and failed at just about every opportunity…
Agree completely. I just quibble a bit about comparing movies to what is probably one of the 3 or 4 greatest action blockbusters to ever nail that balancing act. I do think Transformers did a great job though at making an entertaining movie with solid pacing, fun characters, great spectacle, and some decent laughs…
Whoa whoa whoa...you’re comparing Transformers to Indiana Jones? Yeah, it’s not Indiana Jones, I’ll give you that.
We have looooads of great Christmas songs from the 70s/80s here in the UK, but I’m wondering if they would translate well.
It doesn’t have to be PRESTIIIIGE but Star Wars at its best elevates the genre out of the so-called “sci fi ghetto” into something admired by folks who may only have a passing interest in science fiction. To boil it down as “space wizards for children” is as simple-minded as “all animation is just for kids”, which is…
I wish they’d just release a single player game on this engine in this universe. The gameplay and visuals are great, I just don’t need all the MMO stuff.
