Uhhh... Does Brady’s reaction sound like he’s skeptical of women making accusations of sexual assault/rape?  Because that’s how he sounds to me.  (Then again I dislike him intensely and I am therefore checking to see if more rational viewers of Brady feel differently.)

Isn’t this how all storytelling and music have always worked?  I’m curmudgeonly as they come, but your complaint reminds me of people who got mad at rappers for sampling... 

All I know is that plenty of people have committed equally blameless crimes (drug possession, minor forgery and check kiting, petty larceny) and received MUCH MUCH harsher penalties.  And these defendants have nowhere near the resilience of a Huffman or a Loughlin (really?  why did Becky have a career past Full House?)

Wow, that’s fascinating.  You think they’re getting TOO much punishment?  When I look at sentencing for other minor crimes, this feels like a gentle nuzzle on the wrist.
