Ah, the tears of a clown.
Very well said. If you actually care about healthcare justice, support a group explicitly organized around advocating for universal healthcare, not this hilariously transparent attempt to divert momentum from Medicare For All.
How do they explain away Alicia Florrick? Did she die on her way back to her home planet like Poochie?
You can maybe make the argument that campaigning is about compromise, but politics itself is 100% a zero-sum competition for finite resources where your goal is to kill and utterly humiliate your opponents.
Democrats have forgotten this. Republicans never have.
Not much shocks me anymore, but holy shit, the level of gaslighing in these tweets is fucking bonkers.
I assumed it was just an Abe Sapien origin story, with a similar-but-legally-distinct-from Abe Sapien main character.
The Peggy Noonan picture that’s used for every Gawker/Gizmodo/Splinter/whatever the hell we are now article on Peggy Noonan is one of my favorites.
That, and the attitude that any political problem can be solved if people in the system just work hard enough.
Yup, yup, yup. My biggest problem with the Babe piece was how poorly it was reported, which doesn’t diminish Grace’s experience, but leaves it open to these sorts of attacks.
There are two kinds of people: those who would have sex with the Fish Man, and those who are lying to themselves
The logic is that Civil War was a tentpole that starred a character who had already headlined two solo movies, whereas Black Panther is a new property. Marvel movies starring newly-introduced, unknown characters tend to have depressed openings (in relative terms); Doctor Strange opened with $85M, compared to Thor:…

[Laughs]
Remember, life is too short to be a contrarian.
I feel like whoever created this character model doesn’t understand how an undercut works? His fade seems...off. Something clearly got lost in translation from page to in-game model.
Man, the bootlicking in those tweets from Buzzfeed staffers. People who oppose media unions (or any union, really) are almost always people who believe that they are superior to their peers, and thus will be rewarded for it / don’t need the benefits a union provides. It doesn’t shock me that Buzzfeed attracts a lot of…
I read the first issue. It was...fine. There’s no shortage of eyeroll-worthy yaoi/BL tropes (sports! rivals! boarding school! implausible contrivances!). I’ll probably wait for the trade to see if it gets any better.
Because people want different things from PVE than they do from PVP. I’m sure this gun is fun as hell to play in PVE, but as we can see in this post, it’s absolutely broken in PVP. Balancing the two separately means you can have weird outlier weapons like this that don’t ruin the experience of PVP.
To be clear, Tagame is still creating hardcore works. He was, in fact, still publishing hardcore material while simultaneously publishing My Brother’s Husband.
