I would get stontaneous major hemmoragingfor years. On the subway, pshhh, blood everywhere. Years of tests and treatments. Found out last year I have histamine intolerance. Problem gone within a month!!!

Don’t do crossfit if you don’t want to, just respect their desire to do it and show (feign) interest every once in a while. Don’t change yourself per se, just make others feel comfortable about being THEMSELVES.

What I have realised is that you have to not take jobs (in the future) when you haven’t been very clear about who you are and what you are bringing to the table. If you are an introvert, say it, scream it, pursue it until you find a job/career/boss that suits your personality.

Touché!

I have freelanced for four German companies in five years. They all treated me like absolute shit and never paid me in full. Each one of them was a legitimate company but each one did major tax fraud, among other things. But I live in a medium sized city known for its terrible people. Germans tell me if I go to a big

Absolutely agree. I grew up in the US decades ago and my brother and I were both very ill, requiring extensive treatment. Made my parents broke, eventually breaking them up. My kids are 100% European and everytime we go to the doctor, I remind them that healthcare-wise, we are the most fortunate people on earth.

I know. The other thing is even if I manage to find full time, the salary is less than I got working at an ice cream store 30 years ago in the US. NO JOKE.

But that’s what it is here. ??? Mini jobs are for a max of 400€/month and the employer and employee pay no taxes or social charges. So companies will have 20 mini-jobbers instead of 7 full time.

Amazing how money can make you really beautiful. :-/

It just brings Jezebel down so, so, so far.

Not in Germany. Part time is killing the country

Lemme guess, it was written by a Scandinavian? As a Swede, I can tell you there is a LOT OF SHITTY things about Sweden. A lot. People are fucking delusional. Sweden in ‘78 was totally different than Sweden the last 20 years. I would never move back!

The first time I took my French husband to the US, I went to get a paper from the DMV. When we left, he remarked that it resembled a hospital waiting room, people looked horrifically sick, every kind of sickness imaginable. Since healthcare is pretty much free over here, stuff like infections, skin diseases and cancer

I agree. There are quite a few I am have seen on race relations, equality, educational system, behavioral science....and damn good ones on art. Never watched any of the money or self-marketing related ones. The point is that they are short and sweet to provoke the average person into finding out more and opening their

That isn’t really fair. That’s like saying all tv sucks. There are thousands upon thousands of Ted Talks, several hundred for every possible interest. You have to be a leader in your field and you must take like 9 months with the Ted team to develop your subject and presentation. Most are scientists, artist or highly

First worked for a very famous US concert organiser then as a journalist. The fans were worse in the first job, people become animals. The second one was glorious in someways but depressing that most artists were mere mortals, lol.

Et voila why I quit the music biz. I wanted a couple of my icons to rest intact.

ROTFLMAO

I agree. But as I learned in the biz, some people have great musical talent and the charm of a slug.

Oooooooh. You means Ladies Who Steroid. :-) I draw lines of similarity between children’s beauty pagents, Chinese foot-binding and Ladies Who Steroid....all very fetishy things, definitely.
