Thank god for the gif because I couldn't get thru ten seconds of that song. Hopefully now she'll be moetified enough to officially retire.

No kidding. Hello? Chemicals?

Nope. Most of the money goes into the bottle/jar and advertising. I worked for Dior and we got makeup for nothing back in the day. maybe 90% off or so.

Thank you. I read that list of shit that she puts on her face and all I could think was, "OMG, the chemicals." She is going to have some serious regrets. It's the same thing as eating fast food everyday.

As a middle-aged person, this episode made me a bit..I don't know. I had an abortion over 20 years ago, didn't blink an eye or shed a tear, but I will admit, the older I get, the more I think about what would have happened if I kept it. I will always be absolutely pro-choice but I think your feelings can change over

Why aren't teenagers running away to do real GOOD? Obviously NGOs have a social media problem.

my dad hasn't exercised since college, but has built several houses and gardens voraciously. Basically at least one hour a day of building or gardening, maybe 6-7 on weekends. The man is 73 and looks 60. Fit as a fiddle. Loves to party but eats very, very healthily.

Haven't lived in the US for 27 years. The only thing I miss is African-American culture, real house parties and Girl Scout cookies. And cheap real gold jewelry from Macys.

When I started kindergarten in the early 70s, the teacher said we could take French once a week after school for a fee. This was in hippie San Francisco but I had some really old-Hollywood style, glamourous relatives. Somehow I felt I needed to keep society balanced by being both totally pro-hippie AND

I am sure you are both lovely people, but when a bunch of white males complain, I kinda tune out....

So my friend who works at Givenchy design studio says he definitely is schtupping Riccardo Tisci. And everyone hates Tisci, too, so it has bought Kanye no love.

uh, yeah. Cuz they only make like 20 pairs!

If he doesn't have a VAT number, he is basically cutting his fave pix out of magazines and pinning them on the wall, you know, like a teenager.

America isn't just behind in math and science. They are behind in history and languages. In Europe now university grads are trilingual. My daughters will have two foreign languages at school by sixth grade. And if I want to know something about American history, the Europeans generally know more about it than me, and

Exactly. My salary in 2012 was less than I earned in 2002, but rent has gone up like 3x, I can'afford to ever eat out, take my kids to movies, my boss wouldn't let me stay home when my kid had scarlet fever, had 3 days of vacation in 18 months....France is not remotely what it used to be 10- 20 years ago. those quaint

I used to love hanging out at my dad's office because her first aerobics studio was above him. While he drew up the Doobie Brothers' homes and businesses, chips of paint would fall off the ceiling in his hair.

When I was little, my dad told me that if you can make it NY, you can make it anywhere. After living decades in Paris, I think I could handle NY. ;-)

Yeah, I worked in Milan, too. At least the restaurants are cheaper than Paris :-(

I don't know a single person that doesn't work late. In fact, in my ex-husband's office, people would pass out from exhaustion from working "white nights". Clearly we work in different sectors and perhaps you aren't "cadre"?

Because post offices are run by civil servants and everyone is livid at how they get to keep their 1970s work schedule but us private sector people are simply exhausted, broke and miserable. Do not underestimate the hatred the French have for civil servants.
