Looking through the responses, I just don’t know how to feel about this thing. Details are needed. I don’t care about being body-on-frame vs. unibody, AWD or 4WD, etc. What I care about is the interior size, and engines.

I would say that the outback 2020 (redesign year, 2019 was okay) is too small for someone 6'5". At least it is for me. Same for the Rav4. Damn center consoles, and moldings from the center dash transition to center consoles are too wide.

Both of my keyboards and mice sets are 20+ years old. The old “they don’t make them like they used to” is definitely in my mentality. Mice needs to be big (I have big hands), large buttons, and have 5 buttons, a scroll, and wired (all you need). I hate wireless as I am changing batteries every month and that is just a

While I agree that due to initial minerals and material generation, it is not 100% longer as the OP states. I will say this until I am blue in the face, the first manufacturer that builds a decent sized CUV, that I can fit in, that is around $40k to me (govt. tax rebate included), gets my money. As Americans are

Risk I am willing to take as my email has a 20 character password and MFA.  I understand that companies don’t want to do it as default (like SMS for MFA - which is mostly insecure), but it should be an option.

The thing that I wish is they would actually send you the PDF statement documents with your emails. I hate having to login via proprietary website or app just to download the PDF. Making you login tot he App also sucks as I use a PC and want an email, with my monthly statement, sent to me via email, and I can save it

What can I not play on Windows now?  Anything I already own on XBOX and wish not to pay for again on the Windows Platform (ie. all my XBOX games).  Anything that is exclusive to the XBOX platform.  Anything that does not integrate with the XBOX platform (Chat, messaging, etc.) that you cannot do outside of that

In my original post I stated all but most recent generation of XBOX (so series X) as what my legacy PC would match. My legacy PC is Phenom II x6, 32GB RAM, some video card (I don’t know what it is) but had 2GB RAM and easily runs 1080p @30 Hz (2 monitors).

I don’t keep ignoring, the work is already done with commercial Windows. As pointed out by many XBOX OS is just Windows OS, with a fancy user interface (web browser run at full screen), and the core stuff the same.  Developers of the OS just have to leverage the existing entire market on those devices and drivers.

The problem is cost.  As you shrink components, you increase the cost.  A smaller CPU costs more to make.  The XBOX has always been a mixture of cost vs. performance.  If you take the XBOX hardware out of the picture, and install just the OS on another piece of hardware, that is what makes an interesting prospect.

Yes - if you installed an XBOX OS on a PC, you would loose general Windows PC functionality. That is the point I am trying to make, doing that would be great if you have a spare PC to donate to the cause. Remove the keyboard and mouse, use an XBOX controller, hook it up to a TV, and now you have a non-MS provided

There are other things the XBOX OS does, so there is redundancy. There is a complete copy of the XBOX OS on another partition so that if the original dies, it can self heal (basically doubling the size of the OS). Also if you downloaded the apps on Windows (netflix, youtube, etc.), and double the Windows, program

I am not comparing tot he laptop (surface laptop 4) from the article, I am comparing to a XBOX console. The specs of a XBOX 360 or one of the first two gen XBOX One are very pitiful compared to my 10 year old PC.

While you do have a point about legacy hardware, a majority of windows bloat is to keep 1) legacy APPLICATIONS running, and 2) Windows features (which is superfluous if you are running one application, XBOX OS).

I have to say that if they would just give us the XBOX Operating System, and we could install it on our own hardware? That would be game changer right there. One of the biggest reasons the XBOX realm (and Sony and Nintendo, etc.) is the way it is, is because they don’t use the best hardware, and they try to squeeze

I graduated High School in 1993 and got my first car (that wasn’t a family car) when I was a Freshman in college. I have been driving my own cars for 27 years. My son had two older cars, because he was still learning to drive, but I have purchased each of these cars new in the year of model for myself (ie, 1994 Pontiac

Me, personally, no, which is why I am getting the shots as I stated.  I stated that people who are logically minded, may want to make sure things are better set than a rushed FDA approval in times of emergency.
