I didn’t even realize Connecticut had beaches to speak of. Thought it was a lot of rocky coasts and estuary inlets.

Mentioned this in another post, but the major roads in Mississippi are all pretty good. It’s some of the local roads, particularly in Jackson, that will destroy your axles.

I live in Central Mississippi and can attest to this. Mississippi Highway 25 from Jackson to Starkville is a smooth, four-lane cruise, but it’s also as desolate a 100-mile stretch of highway as you’ll ever find east of Texas.

It’s like that here in Mississippi as well. The interstates and larger state roads are perfectly fine, for the most part. But a lot of the local roads in Jackson are a nightmare. There are photos of potholes deep enough to put a full-sized Christmas tree in.
