I spoke with someone involved with the case and the initial surrogacy interactions and word is that her claims are total bs.

Anyone who says the baby isn’t hers because he doesn’t has her genes can kiss my adopted ass.

But she signed a contract with the surrogate that makes her one of the legal parents. Biology doesn’t matter in this case. It’s as if they had adopted a child together. In such a case not being related to the child wouldn’t save you from child support either.
