In other journalism news, the WaPo ran a fact check of Bernie where he claimed there were 500,000 medical bankruptcies, found a study that showed around 540,000, had the studies author state he agreed with Bernie, and gave him 3 Pinocchios anyway.

Nah, not enough merchandising.

Stick to politics. Some of us are just trying to enjoy ourselves by ignoring the import issues of the day and focusing on news. If I wanted yogurt discussion, I’d go to a yogurt site.

Five and five would be great, but it doesn't look like they are going to do it. Although it would be an opportunity to let Biden dodge Warren again.

That’s the only thing that makes sense to me. He wasn’t unwilling to sell, he just couldn’t and is now putting on a tough face to pretend otherwise.

Never trust anyone with overly manicured facial hair. Beard, simple mustache, or smooth are the only real options.

Seriously. The best outcome would have been one more person making it so they had to do two nights of 5 and 6 people. Thought neither Gabbard or Steyer would have been good picks for it.

She compared the Iran deal to the Munich Pact. She’s not as anti-war as she’d now like people to believe.

You’d think the profit margin on the trade surplus would help with this revisionist nervous energy. On the one hand, I’m all for anyone standing up to Trump in whatever petty way they can. On the other, I just heard her cover of “American Girl” and it made me want to murder the concept of music. This is much closer than it should be.

I fully believe that he wanted to strip it of assets but at this point one of the most valuable has to have been a place in the league, and I can’t imagine the players are still bound by their contracts. The only thing left is the ground, and if he could buy it for a dollar I can’t imagine the debts on it not vastly

I get that he has no skin in the game, but by refusing to sell when the team was actually in the league he’s also making sure he has no upside.

I'm more confused what this guy's plan was. If he doesn't care about the team, why refuse to sell it for a profit? What's he betting on, that it'll be worth more trying to get into the very bottom of the pyramid?

Actually, I was thinking  more of hockey fans, who really seem to hate the idea of new people enjoying the game.

But are you guys openly hostile to new people trying to enjoy the sport?

We would not have properly been able to appreciate the wisdom of ZODIAC MOTHERFUCKER if not for the capslock key. It stays.

Actually from Marysville it’d be the Great White East.

It was back in 2015. If you seriously want to hate someone more than you thought possible, take a look at it. He literally thinks that the others on the trip weren’t quite pretentious enough, and thinks it noteworthy that they treated the staff like humans.
