Right, but it’s not one story. I don’t think Bezos is personally killing or ordering stories. But I do think it's likely that the people who do assign and kill stories know where their bread is buttered.
I tend to trust their reporting. But the paper as a whole has been caught passing off Amazon press releases as stories. Which is more plausible, that Bezos just bought it as a toy to ignore or that he has some influence (even indirect)?
