COROLLARY: there’s enough assholes online that there’s no reason to listen to them. So someone delivering advice while being an asshole is just going to get ignored.

Its just endless slop delivered to hungry mouths, and i assert that has more to do with the media wanting to make money, than trump actually delivering constant newsworthy scandals. What used to be presenters presenting important stories has become a service, a conveyor belt to deliver outrage to outrage addicts.

That’s why I always either preface feedback with "please" or make it a question. "Why are you doing x" "please do y" etc. 

This has to have been tough for the 5th Circuit. On one hand you've got a large corporation trying to take money they're not entitled to, on the other you've got an oil company. I bet they really tried to find a way to let both of them win.
