I really kind of wish I hadn’t read the interview where Del Toro was talking about how hard it is to direct love scenes without feeling like a pervert. I’m picturing him just off screen with words of encouragement and it’s giving me the giggles.

Yep. It all comes down to how the arrangements were made. I’m willing to bet that both the organizer and the writer of the piece failed to iron out the details and just assumed they were on the same wavelength.
It IS amazing and I am glad that people have worked so hard to give these little ones the best chances possible.
I dread the day that my husband and I have the opportunity to customize our kitchen. I’m 5’6” and he’s 6’. While I’m perfectly comfortable with standard fitments, he’s forever complaining about how low things are. I’m hoping he’ll go for a high island and standard counters.
Many years ago, my baby sister was born two months early. Despite receiving the best medical treatment available at the time, she didn’t make it. Since then, there have been so many developments in the treatment of premature labor and premies.
Every time I read about some new treatment or improvement to an old one, I…
Just love how these are the same people who support the legislation to make abortion clinics meet the standards for ambulatory surgical centers and require the doctors to have admitting privileges at local hospitals “for women’s safety”... yt they’re resisting a simple sign to inform people that they are not licensed…
My mental picture involves authorities arriving on the scene of an attempted shooting to find the perpetrator badly beaten and trapped beneath a pile gently vibrating dildos and fleshlights.
It would be interesting to know how the numbers come out when you cross-reference for length of vegetarianism. I was raised vegetarian and never once have even wanted to eat meat. (Not even when I was pregnant, which all of my carnivorous friends insisted I would.)
Craving meat when you’re drunk (if it’s been part of…
My husband used to smoke and every so often he has anxiety issues and feels the urge to pick the habit back up again. The last time it got really bad, we got him the stuff for vaping. It gave him something to fiddle with and use as a substitute for the rituals of smoking. Sometimes he vapes a lot, others a week or two…
Where’s the video? Pope baby had video...
Yes! We must see these dashing coats!
I bought a vintage 1930’s wedding dress back when I got married. I got it online and for whatever reason it came with an embroidered beige Edwardian tea dress. My mother promptly decided that since it was her size, she should wear it as her MOB dress. It didn’t really suit her, but she ADORED it and how could I tell…
When they’re really enthusiastic, they’re the DREAD Chupaleche!
On one hand, I can’t wait for them to be less trendy and for all the gently-used pairs to start turning up in the thrift shops. On the other, I kind of hope this keeps up and other manufacturers take notice of the market for high-quality but not exorbitantly priced goods made in the USA.
Mass-production of cheap crap…
Or how money spent on birth control actually saves taxpayer money. (I’m linking to an NPR article, which I know automatically makes it suspect to a certain portion of the population.)
When my kiddo was nursing, we called her the chupaleche.
Honestly, I can’t see how anyone can confuse “be a peach” with being called a cutesy nickname. It’s like getting offended if someone called you “a good egg.”
I think you meant, “DON’T Fuck that guy.”
A couple of months ago, I was in a Costco loading up on stables when I heard two loud gasps behind me. I turned around to find two little girls (approx. 6 & 4) running over and hugging the Nutella display while making puppy dog eyes at their mother. I think they’d never seen so much Nutella in one place.
I bet he could could do it well, though.
