The Warriors have a 64% chance of winning, according to the betting markets. That’s very, very high for an individual team at this point in the season, but I would not use the word untouchable.

The economics of this rule are more complex than protecting teams from making bad decisions. By adding a year of age to most of the top picks, the value of rookie contracts is increased. Ben Simmons, Jayson Tatum, etc., now are on their rookie contract age for an extra year in their 20s. This implicitly means that…
Football is so stupid. Why do you all watch it anymore?
Who would buy the Athletic? Legit curious.
You have to update this post with the awesome video of KD giving the ref the finger.
A better take is that James Harden and Chris Paul are both flawed players due in part to leadership-related personality issues, but together they have at least a chance of overcoming their individual weaknesses. The Rockets are going to be exciting this year!
I was in the surgery waiting room at the hospital yesterday and Fox and Friends was on. It should be criminal to make people listen to this crap while their loved ones are undergoing procedures.
haha. I responded to your comment above with the same thought. I agree that’s his best fit, basketball-wise. But, without any buddies there, I doubt he goes to San Antonio.
I totally agree with your main point—-Wade is bad at defense and his skill set is not a good fit for a secondary role—-but couldn’t the Spurs use someone like him? They have the shooters and defense to surround him. Their offense will be Kawhi-heavy, which is great, but it’s not clear where else they can go to get…
“Racist” is the slur for white people. I first read that on Deadspin, and it’s 100% true. Forget honkie, cracker, those are jokes; even poor white trash isn’t as bad!
Agreed, you don’t have to answer, but can’t they punish you for that? Like if your boss finds you standing over a dead body in the back alley after work, you can take the fifth amendment in court, but they can fire you if you refuse to explain yourself to your employer, right?
This reminds me of the first off-season after Gentry arrived. The Pelicans were putting out all this crap about how exciting it was that AntDavis was developing his 3-pointer, as if the best use of a 7-foot-tall freak athlete is bombing threes. What about footwork in the post? What about the pick and roll? What about…
Football causes brain damage.
I cut football last year and was definitely happier for it. For me, my family fantasy league was the only thing that kept me hanging on. Dropping that, I had no real interest in the games anymore. You can’t watch a game without seeing multiple life-altering injuries. Not to mention the insane number of commercials.
Small connection of interest: Gase almost got the SF job ahead of Tomsula, except that Baalke/York insisted on Tomsula as DC. It would be ironic if Kap goes to Miami and succeeds with Gase.
I’m pretty far left, and would have preferred single payer to Obamacare in 2009. But, I would fit in this camp that would still prefer to continue to work on Obamacare than start to move to single payer. Here are my main reasons:
Totally. A top-20 player for a guy who played 4 years in college and stunk as a rookie, and the #10 pick —- where do I sign? Boogie was definitely what was wrong with the Kings.
Any chance the Nats have an injured starter going in the last game of the series? In other words, is this strategic?
did you see the shots that cp3 took at doc and austin rivers on the way out of LA? whoa.
I’d like to see Dunk and Egg, or Dance of Dragons (why not mentioned?), but not in the current HBO show format.
