It's plebian, but I like the 5 cylinder in my '07 VW Rabbit.

Or, you know, someone that actually builds trucks. Google tells me that I apparently don't know US mil truck builders.

Bradley or some other US military truck builder needs to get in on this.

The races need more Gopro/heli/whatever coverage. These videos are badass, but I have never been all that excited to go see them at Seafair here in Seattle.

Any build threads or more comprehensive info on the bug? Std or Super? Engine specs? I went to the website but it didn't have a lot of specifics in one place.

Another vote for Pantera. Failing that, a vintage muscle car like a GTO.

I rank them equally. My two flights with them in the past year, one 11 hours long to Paris, were great. That is only two data points, but it definitely puts them above United in my book. United can suck an egg.

I'd say it's a solid tie. But seriously though, don't crash.

Racing fuel cell, judging by that the gaping emptiness where the tank should be.

Styling on the current Camry and Corolla is actually a little bit attractive. There, I said it.

Wow. Someone should write a post about this engine.

Another vote for Singer here. That said, it is interesting to see the different styling in each of these cars. They are all well done, but the AutoArt is a little less subtle compared to the other two. And, shit, that Nakai San mentioned in the comments is just bonkers.

Apparently not to you. Again, more of a curiosity than anything. Most folks from the U.S. don't intimately know other cultures.

My gear head fantasy would have those be versions of the SCG 3 or Ford developing the new GT40. Unless they also use that area for actual car development, the less exciting reality is, like you said, probably a movie.
