Classy bird.
Now can we stop having to hear what she thinks about anything?
It would be good. 20 years too late. But good.

A person? Sure.

Nikolas explained that she first met Milosh when she was 16. She shared a screenshot of her interview with Verse from 2018, where she divulged that she’d been the one to reach out to Milosh first, telling him she liked his music.

This is my favorite episode of Metalocalypse ever........

Great to see karma spit in Ulrich’s face.

This is funny, but the actual uncensored broadcast was funny, too, because it was basically four old guys in a garage playing loud metal music.

I think people forget that not everyone has the same level of engagement with social media or the news and that many people’s first response to hearing distressing information about a friend or former coworker may not be to address it in a public forum.

Yes, Cole’s article basically ended desire to watch anything new and I’m now at the point of closing the door on him. I did verge on stan, which likely did impact my thoughts, but at this point I just can’t. He’s too much a part of his work that I can’t even go “but TV and movies are a collaborative effort and lots of

Thing is, he doesn’t really owe us details - it’s an open secret that Joss Whedon is a piece of crap. We didn’t know the details of him firing Charisma, but it’s been known he did it because she was pregnant for a long time. And his ex-wife wrote an open letter a few years back detailing some of his abuse and

The thing though is that what Carpenter is saying has pretty much been an open secret since it happened. We should’ve been listening then and not letting his “feminist credentials” sway us. And I 100% count myself as someone who should’ve done better then, as I heard it and dismissed it.

One thing to consider - and I’m not trying to condescend, I know that you have probably already considered this - is that abuse is entire behavioural patterns designed to create a specific environment, rather than singular isolated acts.

I think what is happening in this comment thread is a backwards analyzation of success of the actors involved. However, women portraying nudity in Hollywood movies has always been something of salacious interest and it’s a different ugliness compared to these women who were abused when young and that may have affected

Even if an actress does an occasional nude scene on her own terms she’s likely not going to want some candid shot out there that she didn’t approve of, especially considering the places on the internet where it would circulate. It might or might not hurt a career but certainly won’t help.

It is a dumb idea, but it’s exactly what an abuser would do, and to some degree it would work because people would in fact turn on her. Not saying he would come out ahead, but misogyny and slut/victim-shaming are powerful.

That’s the trouble. I feel comfortable giving him the benefit of the doubt about anything in Marilyn Manson’s autobiography, since... It’s Marilyn Manson’s autobiography.

Reznor has been pretty public about the fact that he was a drug and booze-addled mess in the 90s so I wouldn’t rule out some bad stories surfacing from then; unlike Manson he seemed to largely turn into a decent human being after drying out

I realize it’s naive, but I’m going to be cautiously optimistic that Reznor isn’t that bad? Maybe the floodgates will open and we’ll start hearing people’s stories against him, but I just can’t stand the idea that Dave Grohl was the only decent person making rock music in the mid 90s. Or that Billy Corgan is one of

Now that’s a PPV event I’d pay for!

Haven’t we reached the point yet where we just hire Trent Reznor to beat the shit out of Marilyn Manson?

Good thing they just found out today.
