You’ve never heard of a Celica GT-Four? Being an All-Trac in the US, that’s a very reasonable price.

Nurse! He got to the computer again!
You don’t say...
The Grand National should have been #1. I fell in love when I read the Car and Driver article in 87 “Darth Vader, Your Car Is Ready”. Then several month later I was in downtown Springfield, TN and I heard brakes, I looked and saw a GN with all 4 tires smoking because a minivan had pulled out in front of it on Highway…

As a former 944 owner I can’t hear you over my 5.7 liters of hoonage.
I don’t care what other people think of me. I’m already at that point. That’s why I drive a 85 C10 in fair condition. I can afford something better, but I don’t want to. The stuff that i spend a little extra on are things that I truly care about quality-wise. I won’t drink shit beer, so I go for craft brews, because…
944 is jusy as plain to look at though.
Not really. I just call them like I see them. They are embarrassing. It was a cool looking car at its time. But it did not age well. Now, if you are talking about a 64 Vette, then I would love to have one of those.
I’d probably go with a much newer WS6 for the same price. You still get flip up headlights, you swap the targa for a T, much more powers and torques V8, better handling, 6sp over a 4, faster, same parts and aftermarket availability.. Oh and a hump back seat for all that love makin’ you’ll obviously be doing
and if you’re going to get a c5 might as well get a z #amirite
While Regular Car Reviews is here to tell you all there is to know about the most important Corvette generation, I keep wondering: is it time to buy a five grand C4 and just daily the hell out of it?
The ‘91-’92 Galant VR-4 really should be on here. It was an amazing machine that was extremely rewarding driving to the limit on backwoods dirt roads. It gave the US something that didn’t really catch on until the WRX was released in the US - Turbocharged, AWD, 4 Doors, supportive bucket seats, and easily upgraded…
I was really fighting the urge to go there...
This is a Hotrod.
I played the heck out of this in Sega Rally II!
EDIT: (didn't even see this in the subtitle below pic)
it applies to all turbo vehicles ;)
It’s a Thunderbird, FAR from a hotrod.
Agreed on the GNX.
Beautiful car, great work, but way too expensive for a T-Bird from the early 90’s. This reeks of attempting to recoup project costs, not actually looking at what the market will bear.
