While I agree, having an expert join you for the inspection is a great idea, I’ve found in my case (Turbo Dodges), I have more knowledge than “experts”.

I track our 95. Supercharged 3.3L V6, lowered, etc.
Supercharged V6 would be much smarter.
You mean it’s not common sense to inspect things before buying them?
It’s a crossover, how much more compromise do you need?
I feel they should remove all the distractions in vehicles.
How about instead of ruining a classic name by slapping it on a wagon, they just come up with a new name?

It’s usually leaded, which will destroy your fuel system, so they say.
And then remember there is 22yrs of extra tech in there.
Don’t waste your time. I couldn’t believe how uninspiring they felt to drive.
Friend of mine has had 2 of these. They are incredible off road in stock trim.
This gen of Prelude is a far more enjoyable car to drive than the BRZ/FRS. The twins are slightly faster 0-60, but they don’t offer the same experience.
I had an 89 2.0 SI 4ws. I would venture to guess that this one was not a 2.0SI, but rather the 2.1L, which to my knowledge did not come with 4ws.
It wasn’t quick, but it would kill just about anything in the twisties.
Prelude would run low 8 0-60, cornered like it was on rails, and could crack off 32mpg+. That was from a non-Vtec 2.0 making 135hp.
Found one of those for $200 for a friend of mine. Almost no rust aside from the filler neck, which was literally falling out. He bought it, put a new neck on, camo’d it (I have no idea, was his thing at the time), and drove it for 6yrs.
Painted valve cover +50hp.
