Last ice storm we had ended in the roads being covered in over 2" of ice. People in the ditch everywhere. Yet I was able to make it to and from work, safely, and later to the store.
Proof that you just can’t fix stupid.
Snow/Ice have yet to be a problem for my F250, it’s pushed snow with the front bumper numerous times. It’ll walk all over something with snows (albeit weight likely plays a very large factor). It’s running on these.
Older Mopar.
Can you get off it already.
Better idea:
I’m ok with large.
And still we have more deaths today.
Who’s responsibility is it to be in control while driving?
Our road sometimes isn’t cleared for 3-4 days after a good snow. I regularly drive through 8-12", no AWD required.
And we should have proper driver training. The fact that these people couldn’t handle an emergency situation is their fault.
Still the most beautiful Porsche IMO:
They wouldn’t be dead if they knew how to properly handle a vehicle, PERIOD.
The only way any of this will startle you long enough to crash is if you aren’t paying attention to driving in the first place.
Does your winter beater have to endanger yourself and others around you? Jesus man fix the damn ball joint and tie rod end.
Why spend the extra on a 4x4, when a decent FWD will do just fine in all but the worst conditions?
Easy: STUPID.
Cars suddenly fail all the time, doesn’t matter if it’s a brand new $100k car or a $100 shitbox. Parts fail, sensors fail, pumps fail.
Hmm, yet I was able to safely steer my car to safety when the asd relay fried causing it to shut off. I was perfectly able to move to the side and come to a stop.
