Drivers aids are a good thing.
LMAO. Well said.
You realize that they weigh less than half of what most BB cars of that era did right? Power:weight goes a long ways in a drag race. Same reason a 180hp beetle can smoke most “muscle” at the strip.
Cammed, ported, individual carbs, header, etc. I consider that mild. It was still stock bottom end.
Agreed.
Age?
That bitch looks mean!
Correct stopping at a redlight leaves enough room between you and the vehicle in front of you for emergency maneuvers. The real issue is either they no longer teach this, or like most things, most drivers ignore it.
It actually sounds like the Police car was parked the wrong way on that street.
Same was said about that little Opel back in the day. It was a riot to see the faces of the Muscle owners as the little GT was pulling away.
Came here to say this. Glad to see it already here.
CUV, Jesus you call your self an automotive writer.
Our 84 F150 served our needs since it was new. 300 straight/AOD trans/posi rear. Finally retired at 384k, when the body was almost non existent and the whole suspension needed to be redone (poor excuse I know).
If only it was a manual. 3-on-the-tree FTW.
Shantal Monique.
I think you missed the MODDED part of my statement.
And I’m pretty sure it wasn’t made to be a quarter-mile king.
I’m sorry you are too blind to understand how AWD actually works.
Not my fault the average consumer is a moron who doesn’t know how to handle their vehicle. That’s proven by all the driver assists in new vehicles.
