I prefer my torque to start just off idle and carry through to around 4k, where hp then takes over.

Usually by the time I unwrap it, it’s mostly scabbed over.

Small screwdriver THROUGH hand. Nearest semi-clean rag, electrical tape, Clean it up when the job is done.

Turbo/5-speed started in 87, ran until 90. That motor can handle well over 300hp on stock internals.
