Brian is probably more like Shawn Spencer from Psych than Gregory House. He's actually a very friendly, well-meaning guy, but with a tendency to be immature and very little humility about the enhanced intelligence the NZT pill gives him.

You'd have my vote. Or pageviews, or whatever.

It's way above average for a CBS procedural. The writing can be a lot of fun, even when it goes to dark places, and the visuals are a much more more inventive than you would expect.

R.I.P.

For a recently-relapsed heroin addict, Sherlock sure was nonchalant in his handling of the victim's stash of opiates. A moment of trepidation on his part in handling the pills, or handing the bottles off to Joan might have been appropriate.

And now we know, after two seasons, that his name is… Gary.

"Well, well, well… if it isn't the soon to be dead Mr. Wormwood."

I'm going to try to play it old school. I dug the cartridge and my NES out of storage, though whether it will run is up in the air. I last used the console a couple years ago, and I seem to recall it functioned, but was very touchy, so whether it will still work is open to question.

Whatever I can.

Sid said, "Could he be mostly dead, but not all dead, cuz mostly dead is slightly alive?" Which is nearly verbatim Miracle Max's line about Westley.

"The prophecy says 'he who pulls the sword from the stump will unite the kingdoms under his glorious rule!' Prophecies are never wrong! That's just science!"

BILL LAMBEER'S COMBAT BASKETBALL!

The cherry on top was Galavant turning around into frame, trying to figure out who the villager was addressing. It was kind of an obvious joke, but they played it the right way by not leaning to hard on it and moving on quickly.

"This is going to be so much fun! Oh, we should probably go; I stole these horses and just set fire to the rec center. Dismantle my castle, will you?"

I had no trouble explaining 'spank bank'

I'll always remember this game for the fight with the giant spider on the roof of the sperm bank.

For those of you who aren't watching it, Craig Sweeny's other New York-based crime procedural, Limitless, recently featured it's own hacktivist collective, who go by the completely different name 'Everywhere'.

After the episode finished, I went down to my basement, pulled out my Atari 2600 and played games for a few minutes.

I agree. Part of MST3K's quirky charm came from the fact that it was made by people who came from outside the usual New York / LA television scene. It had a midwestern sensibility to it that was distinct from most of the other entertainment programming at the time.
