Respect the honesty.

Dude, you ok?

Kat was nowhere near as interesting as Twitter would have you believe.  But that doesn’t really matter, because your job as an actor is to play the character written for you.  Not every director / writer is going to be ok with you having creative input (nor should they have to be).  People lose their jobs for far less.

That’s what everyone in the NYC downtown scene had to say about her back in the day long before Uncah Jams came out.

It takes 6 months for her to decide if it’s worth it or not to latch on that specific cause.  Totally feel you here.

This 100% happened

haha can’t say that’s wrong

Right?  There’s just something very insincere about her schtick.  I think we all have known a person like that in our lives, and they always kinda suck.

Those people 100 percent ran like hell after seeing the stairs.  It’s a pretty grimey area of the Bronx to begin with, and outside of those people getting maybe a sandwhich from the bodega, there’s not a lot keeping them there.  It was joked about by New Yorkers everywhere when those videos were being made because we

Nah it’s def nerd shit you’re pulling there. No hate,  but it is what it is.

You think the neighborhood with the stairs Joker danced down didn’t see a cash influx?”

Lol it def did not. Someones clearly never been to the Bronx, especially that section of it.

Seems like a pretty important part of his statement that Jez left out in order to rile people up online

Demi just really does seem like the kind of person who will always find a way to make themselves part of the latest “trauma porn” club like it’s a new costume to put on and get attention with.  I honestly wouldn’t be surprised to hear her fake some kind of illness at some point in her life.

So the director just wanted to seize on an opportunity to hype their film up to go along with the “hot” social justice scandal of the time of the release?  What a huge shock that would happen.

We played it as “are you nervous” as a kid growing up, but it was never that aggressive. I think the kids the author played with are particularly shitty (which often goes hand in hand with “private school in NY suburb”)

Hanging out drinking IPA’s in Bed-Stuy on the same block where Biggie grew up, no less, while complaining about shit like Friends being “too white”.

It definitely is asking for tokenism, as that will most likely be the end result. Also, the real issue with writers rooms comes down way more to class than it does race (and I work in the industry, so I see it firsthand). There’s a huge culture of solely bringing in people who are highly educated, from expensive

Also way too many people act like NYC is a place where everyone is in this wild diverse group of people, when in reality, even though we are definitely around on a daily basis people of every race, lots of us still hang out with predominantly people of our own race or culture.  All races do it, too.  It’s mostly a

Add to that because of the year round nice weather, a lot more people have smaller, faster, sportier cars (because those suck balls in a place that gets winter).  So that also makes people drive faster and wilder because the car is made for it.

Well said
