How can you do that? Either way, that's awesome.

Yeah, totally. I like what Ubisoft is doing with Assassin's Creed - they're hiring their own directors, setting up their own script, and casting the main actors. After they have that, they'll go to a major studio and see if they want to be a part of it.
Exactly the point I was making. Thanks for clarifying that.
I don't disagree with you. Learn to read properly. Did I ever say I wanted that?
Right. That's the exact problem. I only read Fall of Reach, but yes, they would be fine adaptations. The problem is Hollywood doesn't care how many games or books or comics you've sold; they're going to make changes that suit their interests. Sometimes you get something great - like The Dark Knight, an obvious but…
That isn't the thing, though. The only people who would have cared were Universal, and they would have dictated what the movie would have been like.
Honestly, I think this is the best option we have. I realized that if Halo had been adapted by Universal, so much would have to be changed to make it a profitable movie that we wouldn't even recognize it.
I agree. I wouldn't mind if the game also cost $16 on the PSN. Then I would say, hey, that's the fair price. It is a great game and yes, iOS games have destroyed the value of handheld gaming. But either way, you're basically paying a tax to play it on your platform of choice.
They also asked Microsoft for a 6 month or so extension, and were declined. That's probably the largest contributing factor...
That's not really true. They could theoretically do that, but the truth is, the Map application is made by Apple and just uses the Google Maps API. So the whole reason Maps is better on Android is because Google actually updates it, while Apple simply hasn't done anything for years.
I suck at coding too, so I completely understand. I didn't meant to be so rude, if it seemed I was.
You must not be a very serious app developer then. Isn't developing apps your job? You do a good job, you get good pay. If you are lazy and build a bad product, no one is going to care.
Yes, I totally understand that. That really is not the point. The point is that, running a game on an unsupported operating system with WINE could be triggering something in Blizzard's system, as it could be detecting that you aren't running your copy on a legitimate operating system or that something else is coming…
I'm an admitted Apple fan, but I think you meant to say "fanboy," and that I am not. And I'm also quite aware of the history of UNIX and its evolution.
Thanks for the heads up on what I already knew. Maybe if you actually had some reading comprehension you would understand what all this is about.
I understand how WINE works. Either way, if the issue really is people using WINE, then WINE is being detected by Blizzard's anti-cheat systems because it is directly contacting Diablo throughout the play session.
I'm not sure if you're arguing with me or something, but that's basically what I said. Yeah, I have a Mac and Steam is great, I didn't realize they sold Diablo through there. I just got it on the Blizzard website.
No, I'm not fucking retarded. No need to be an absolute dick.
Obviously OS X is a real enough operating system that Blizzard released for game for it.
