Yeah, I think its justified then. You never know where your programming and modding might take you. Try downloading the UDK and messing around with that....its quite the resource hog.

Yeah, I could have been a little more clear about that. I think I meant to include a sentence in there that somehow got left out.

You're completely right. Maybe my comment was off base. I mean, in the end, the Xbox version has generally appeared to be better, especially with Rockstar's games, but it has really changed in the last year and things are much more equal at this point.

I totally agree. The issue with developing on PS3 as lead platform is that the Cell processor is a total bitch to program for. Companies should work harder to ensure that gamers are receiving an equal experience, and as many have noted, it has gotten better. I was probably being unfair before in saying Xbox is

Well, it depends what you do. If you are just gaming, then yes, its a waste. If you are doing any rendering or advanced tasks, its a necessity. At least you are future proofed!

The fact of the matter is 95% of games that are multi-plat are developed with Xbox as the lead platform, so they are almost always superior to the PS3 version.

My main use of vacuum is to get rid of the bees/wasps that somehow find their way into the attic every summer. Damn you bees!!!!

Same, and I think that's really the only reason. My parents tried to break me out of it but they weren't able to. Honestly, there isn't anything wrong with it other than the fact that my nails look kinda ugly. Besides that, who gives a shit?

To be fair, this isn't really Spyro anymore. Its just piggybacking off the brand to launch a new brand that only vaguely resembles Spyro in art style.

The only issue with what you suggest here - PS3 as lead platform, porting to Xbox - is that it would mean rewriting the entire engine from scratch in order to make that work, which is way more expensive and less efficient than sticking with a well known pipeline.

I agree. Sending out only Xbox 360 copies does seem to clearly be an error. I guess I'm more a "benefit of the doubt" kind of guy. It doesn't make them look good, but I'm more likely to believe this was either an error or policy rather than an act of subterfuge.

I'm not being unrealistic in my expectations of you based on how you have represented yourself here in your interactions with others, myself included.

But see, that's the whole problem. You can get really uppity on these comments but in the end it doesn't really mean shit. If you were sincerely honest about your outrage, then you'd do something. You are coming up with excuses to justify the fact that your actions can't live up to your words.

Except you mentioned its getting coverage on IGN. And it is getting coverage here. If you are really as upset as you seem to be, go talk to a lawyer and take them to court.

I never said they should be celebrated or rewarded for making a broken product. I also noticed you didn't even respond to my comment about Sony's fault in all this. The whole reason PS3 owners are experiencing this issue is because of how the PS3 allocates memory between the game and graphics. There isn't much

First off, the fact that Skyrim won Game of the Year isn't pathetic. By your reasoning, a console exclusive shouldn't have the chance to be Game of the Year just because it doesn't appear on your platform of choice. Maybe Skyrim on PS3 is Worst Game of 2011, but the Xbox 360 version is the best. Maybe we shouldn't

To be fair, instead of hitting 10GHz we got dual and quad-core processors. In a way we did get close to hitting that mark, but we hit it in a different way. I mean, I have a quad-core processor that is at 4.5GHz overclocked. I don't know that much about processors, but I can assume that a quad-core is at least

Well, maybe someone with a gaming PC from 2006 can answer. I personally can't, but I would say that a 2006 rig would have a lot of trouble running The Witcher 2. Battlefield 3 on low? Possibly. But generally I don't think a 2006 PC would meet the minimum requirements.

The article did mention it was only free apps, so you may have a much lower cap for paid apps. I'm sure their sales per day are still ridiculous, however.

I guess its also fair to assume it could/would be a smaller, downloadable game from PSN.
