@box024-a501: You're definitely not looking close enough.
@box024-a501: You're definitely not looking close enough.
@strikers09: That's because cities were designed around cars, which is just as big a fuck up.
@ryoshi: Wow, way to pass judgement without doing any sort of research.
Poor America. I think we switched to automobiles because trains weren't patriotic enough. And then airplanes.
@arrrdawg: Like what, specifically? Many, many companies use Unreal - in fact, many of this generation's best games have been built on Unreal.
Here is to hoping that Sony and Epic some how team up to allow developers using the Unreal Development Kit easy access to publish games to the platform. If they can do that, the NGP would be the best next generation portable device there could be.
Interesting...I got an invite, but I didn't beta test.
@ValeriaHeart: I think it is relevant if, for some reason, he was able to achieve an insane amount of achievements in a short time due to his ability, and that is why they believe he was a cheater. If his autism caused some sort of discrepancy that looked like cheating, and maybe walked the line, and they decided…
@ValeriaHeart: Very true. I doubt they'll fill us in.
@ValeriaHeart: That doesn't answer HOW he did it. I want follow up.
@DukeOfPwn: I think this trailer is highly questionable in terms of its craftmanship. It uses dialogue from the first game and the animations, framing, and cuts all look somewhat off and thrown together. Until we actually get the trailer from Warner Bros. with a logo on it, I would take anything we see with a grain…
@MrSnuffles: Yes, completely agree. All the dialogue was from the first game, and some of the animations and the framing of this were...off.
@Deez: I totally agree. Thanks for the clarification! It seems like people always are trying to start fights on Kotaku, so I usually take it as such unless someone mentions "I agree" somewhere in their reply, haha.
@Deez: Sort of an extensive reply for something I didn't even really bring up. I agree with you 100%, however. Never said anything otherwise. I too don't mind polygon counts or texture resolutions - you're preaching to the choir here, you should be talking to ics up there. The reason I am excited about this game…
@twistedsymphony: I know? Everyone knows the cutscenes are all actually in-game cinematics. People are complaining that they haven't seen gameplay. I'm sure they have and they just haven't realized it yet.
@ics: Looks about the same as GTA and Red Dead Redemption. Its on par with everything else Rockstar has been putting out. Open world games mean lower resolution textures. The PC version of GTA IV wasn't much better, except for draw distances. The textures were still pretty bad in some spots.
Do you people not realize that most of this trailer is gameplay and not in-engine cinematics?
@freedomweasel: True. As I said, it depends how it is made. I wouldn't turn down a game where I played as a Nazi as long as it was constructed well and wasn't inflammatory. I don't know if I would call Americans "pussies," but we are incredibly ignorant and closeminded. Why can't we make a game where the main…
My vote goes for Mass Effect 2.
@freedomweasel: I'm Jewish and I'd love to play as a Nazi. It isn't like it is real. And I doubt we'd be playing a game where you throw Jews into an oven, but rather, like James Polk above me pointed out, just a lowly Wermacht soldier following orders.
