@Lemming: I...know? I sort of remarked upon that already, by saying it was a good, proven business model. I didn't list specific examples, but I am well aware of those successes.

@herogear: You're forgetting one thing. This isn't just rereleasing the same game in the same medium. They've taken a game that used to be console only and moved it to a portable device. That, I believe, is the big draw.

@Skyllus: I think that picking a class actually takes away from immersion, as I am usually forced into a specific role and not allowed to grow in other aspects.

@Outrider: Let's hope hackers are able to take that functionality. Considering the breakthroughs with motion capture on Kinect already, maybe someone can reverse engineer this. Would certainly make the process a lot easier for the game I'm building with UDK right now...

@SiegWarheit: Yeah, I'm being serious. I really liked your response. :D

@scrapking: I guess that is true, but there are server costs, etc. associated with an online game that sort of doesn't make sense in "re-releasing," especially with it on other platforms already, as you've mentioned. Also, it would possibly undermine profits for their current MMO, FFXIV, so we can't have that now,

@Onslaught Six: We aren't - you usually get a nice bonus once the game ships, and usually can take a few weeks vacation.

@MAConcep00: I don't think "lazy" is the right word, though. Greedy? Sure. But lazy? I mean, some people obviously have more work than others in terms of hours spent working as well as the difficulty of the work, but I don't think that it comes down to anyone being lazy. I can totally agree with greedy but no one

@SiegWarheit: Great comment, your response to what I had to say as well as your comments on piracy are outstanding. Thanks! :)

@Revorse: Yes, Kingdom Hearts as well, please.

@MAConcep00: I really would not describe developers as greedy and lazy, although I do understand the point you are trying to make.

Wait, wait, wait. Aren't Legend and Anniversary ALREADY in HD. They were released for this current generation.

@Roamin: Thanks, I appreciate the explanation.

@Tarzanti: Here is the difference though - it depends on the liscensing terms of the software you are working with.

I'd really like to know why they believe it to be in violation of any sort of copyright laws. First off, they're mods. They're making content for a game that they do not have rights to or own. He isn't selling their product (as far as I am aware) so he is simply redistributing it and giving them credit.

@Skiddy: As I said, its like comparing apples to oranges. They simply aren't comparable.

@TrentUGA: Huh? I thought it was pretty resolved...what in particular did you feel was not resolved, exactly?

@William Henry Harrison: Technically, you could say Moon really had three characters - don't want to give away spoilers, but there is a large portion of the movie spent with another character, and while you could argue that he is maybe the other side of the same coin, I think the dynamic makes him a character in his

@Doctor Jest: Yes, exactly - an efficient war. Part of me wonders that if we stripped that away, maybe less people would want to fight. A close combat war, most likely fought with machetes and other readily available tools in the Congo, would be far more brutal and harder to fight than one with guns. I think after

@OkayOctane: I said I don't want to be associated with it - unfortunately, it isn't easy to do so.
