I thank you for the support! In my experience, though, it’s true that white people bury their heads in the sand regarding privilege and yet won’t shut up about their views on the world, even the well-meaning ones. I’ve been there and thought myself terribly clever for it. I cringe now.

I think Trump is a horrible orange lizard monster and I hate just about everything he and his administration are doing, but I agree with the others that this is non-news. Most displays look creepy with the lights off. They weren’t meant to be properly viewed in such a state.
