Careful with the reductionism. What you say is not technically false, but not strictly true either.

I think the fact the he genuinely seems to not know whether his transmission will leap from the car on trying this is pretty idiotic, but kinda cool...

Heard this the second I read the headline... cracks me up that so did everyone else. It’s eery how appropriate it is, like maybe he’s an actual witch.

The meta is strong with this one...

2 stroke fires the plug twice as often, need to change valve timing to match. (and some engineering trickery to clear the exhaust)

If they took the time to check, they will lose out on clicks, lose out on money, shareholders get mad and people get fired. Capitalism has subverted journalism pretty good. When the bottom line is the bottom line and all other concerns must come after, things go pear shaped.

So true. The longer this goes on and the harder it is to explain away the better it gets.

RC enthusiasts have been doing ridiculous stuff for decades, but we knew the risks and in general were very careful/kept it away from populated areas. The rocketry crew are awesome, they really do some crazy shit, but you don’t hear about them doing it near air traffic... Your AMA membership gets you insurance, but

Hell Yes... I’m into model airplanes and it occurred to me years ago (and I’m sure millions of other geeks) that if you had an upside down wing for a car body it would stick to the road very, very well. Only thing is that by definition you’d end up with a weird gaping hole at the rear of the car!

Anyone that thinks Trump can’t win hasn’t been paying attention.

Sorry, I guess the point I was trying to make wasn’t clear: At this point it is staring us in the face so brutally and obviously that everyone knows it’s true, but many won’t admit it (some even to themselves) for bizarre socio-political reasons. Just to make the point even more clearly those in denial shriek the
