Nothing makes me feel older and out of touch then reading about streaming culture.

I imagine it was one of those places where it’s “parking for customers only” and tow truck guy saw him walk away from the Wendy’s.

Well, that definitely makes me feel poor since I’m 41  lol

I’ll be really surprised if this thing isn’t on a “please get rid of this stock” clearance price by summer.

It’s so weird how “only 200 dollars” is something I keep seeing a lot.  200 dollars is still a heck of a lot of money for me.

The fact that FFXIV, a game I both paid for, all it’s expansions, and pay a monthly sub for has a cash shop feels like such a slap in the face. I still play the game because the shop stuff is cosmetic (minus some level skip stuff which I do find pretty egregious) but it feels SO greedy. But also...it sells. I see

I really hope they integrate with Discord more, since that’s where I mostly want to share screenshots anyway.  Be nice to be able to do that right from the console.  I was posting to Twitter, saving it, then posting but that’s not gonna be an option anymore.

One thing I’ve learned the hard way is to never buy whatever warranty a store is trying to sell you.  They will always find a way to either not honor it or screw you over some other way.

Some people take marriage vows really seriously even if it makes no sense to do so.  I knew someone who never technically divorced the guy that beat her, because “She made a vow before god”.

With all the big oil companies it feels like they put way more effort and money into ads trying to convince people they’re moving away from oil then actually doing it.

I love it.  THIS is the 21st century fashion I was promised.

I’m hugely into gaming and I roll my eyes every time I see everyone complaining about how underpowered the Switch is. I think the Switch graphics are fine and care much more about games being fun then the graphical fidelity of single blades of grass or whatever.  I’m not in a huge hurry to shell out hundreds of

I’m dropping Disney Plus when my sub runs out.  The price hike next month just isn’t worth it to keep.

At 10 dollars or less, it was a “eh...why not” kinda thing.  If I watched one or two things it was worth it.  But with things at 15 and some pushing 20 dollars a month?  Ya no.  It’s not worth it.

I truly believe that the next step for these services is going to be contracts, and no longer paying month to month, because so many people do this.  Not that I’m saying it’s WRONG to do that, but that I know the services probably hate it.

For what it’s worth, Beetlejuice is actually super good. Genuinely one of the best I’ve seen, and I am a mega Broadway fan.

She already has.  Her response to it has basically been “well excuse ME for having a good time”.

People’s continuing awful behavior has been a hot topic for theater fans for awhile...skyrocketing after covid.  She’s super not alone.  It takes a LOT to get kicked out because the theater is so reluctant to do it for...reasons.  When I saw the tour of Hadestown in May someone was watching a damn video with the

Ya....Sonic Team has a pretty long history of sounding super bitter when Sonic games developed in the west do much better then the ones they come up with.  They then double down instead of making the games people actually want.

I was born in 1982, and I remember McDonalds being this special meal thing....although we did typically go every Friday night. But also I remember McDonalds, and fast food in general, being more part of the cultural zeitgeist. Like, what movie they were getting stuff for was a big deal. And not just the Happy Meals
