I think it’s important to remember this entire thing started from a joke somebody made on Reddit.  The OP didn’t know the guy, and wasn’t even suggesting he seriously did this.  It was entirely meant as a joke.

Last election, I looked at this big map that broke down how people in all the states voted by county and every single state had at least a few areas of blue in them.  Every state except for West Virginia.  It was 100%, solidly red.
