I’d say if this isn’t Logan you will see the next issue of this books sales drop like a rock.

Yet they actually have practical Kung fu in all their fights. He uses crane, wah lum, tiger and mantis styles effectively. Also the fight with the drunken master was how drunken Kung Fu is actually used. No flourishes or nothing fancy was really used. Movie Kung Fu isn’t real Kung Fu.

In other news; water is wet?

That’s easy. Deathstroke is the Villian for Nightwing now. I guarantee it. The Batman is being re written as a classic Batman vs Joker movie I’ve heard.

I think everyone is way over thinking this. Kid wanted to work for Nintendo of Japan. Kid figured out how to be skilled enough to do so. Kid followed dream. Kid completed goal.

I’ve heard that Japanese businesses hire generally in skill then anything else. Interesting.

I imagine he is very, very good at what he does.

I see your Dane and raise you another for doom.

TBH. He doesn’t need his own movie. He should be like the Hulk is in the MCU. Just shows up in everyone else’s.

The hearing loss argument is bs. i mean if you really want a suppressed fire arm you’ll get one or buy subsonic rounds for a 22lr.

Bruh... I liked goof troop lol.

It really isn’t that bad because you have activities going on co-currently. You have Boy Scouts and young men’s. Then on Sunday you have basically 8 hours of church. My dad made time for both. Bishopric meetings were usually at the same times as youth activities. To be honest with you, church lifestyle wasn’t

Oh agreed. Local church finances were pretty transparent. It’s almost like their was two churches. The local church was very open. The general authority up is where things become cloudy.

I notice that utah and western mormons and mormons everywhere else is a completely different experience. I grew up in Tampa and missionary work was never pressured on me. I mean they would liked it, but I had a college scholarship. No big deal from my bishop. He in couraged me to do what I felt was right for me.

Just a heads up. Tithing is paid in envelopes that people drop off. It was never coerced when I was a kid. FYI

I would say disciplined is the correct term. The church stressed self reliance , self displine and community. People see mormons as odd , but they really aren’t. They are very hard working and good people mostly. They try to be good community members. I haven’t been to church in over 15 years. But I know if I needed

I would say it’s ran like a non for profit. They do a ton of charity. They just are very disciplined when it comes to finances.

Also that is General Authorities and up. Also adjust out 12k a year on tithing. So it’s more like 108k a year.

I grew up in the church as well. My dad was ward clerk. They had automated tithe reports and accounting. My dad was basically the church accountant. The church kept clean books. They knew who paid ,how much, and it flagged for temple worthiness. The church was absolutely ran like a business. That’s not a bad thing

I know right. I grew up in the faith and people with high level callings at the ward level perform about 40 hours of work on top of their day jobs. My dad was ward clerk and always in bishopric and I barley saw him as a kid. It’s a full time job running the church.
