Well then good for you. But you know what? The game has sold millions. People are playing the game and enjoying it despite the fact you have to log in to play.

How dare an established/experienced developer develop a game the way they want to and not the way of some magical shapeless blob that will please the millions of impossible-to-please fans that each want different things?!

Yea I suppose. Outside of old nintendo games I just didn't see anything substantial. I know there are some good games out for it now, but none that really appeal to me.

3DS vs Vita.... I was hoping hoping this E3 would push me one way or another, but both showings this year were so disappointing I'm not sure what to do. Only game I was sorta psyched for was Castlevania. I guess I can wait even more for some reason to push me further in one direction.

I don't doubt it's impressive tech. I'm merely stating my disatisfaction on how 'next-gen' and progress in general is measured via how close to realistic we can be, instead of actual gameplay.
