Good will to the fans for one. And Blizzcon regularly sells out in a day or so, so I'm pretty sure it's just as successful as any other convention out there.

You think corporations will "learn" like that? What is going to happen is they will implement a heavier, bulkier, more intrusive version of punkbuster....

Been enjoying me some SWTOR. Playing as the Jedi Counselor so far. The main overall story is such a let down so far, but the class itself (26 shadow in my case) is really fun to play.

I think it's the exact opposite. Gamer's these days aren't forgiving enough to developers. Such a feeling of self-entitlement, and constant tearing apart every single game because it is not 100% the game you want it to be instead of enjoying it for what it is.

Actually it wasn't from the 'get go.' There was diminishing returns from killing the same people over and over. This was implemented a little after the pvp system was introduced I believe.
