The Secret Wars II stuff is lame, but it's the same issue where Thor gets turned into a frog. So it balances out.

One of the members of Jonzun Crew was Maurice Starr, who'd go on to be the puppet master behind New Edition and New Kids on the Block.

These were great reviews for a great show.

Hal barely got a cameo in JLU. It was a GREAT cameo, but it was still only two or three lines.

If you can do non-actors, that opens up a lot of potential space for this feature. Go get Andrea Romano!

Isn't Michael Cera's character already a MASH reference?

These Sports Night reviews are among my favorite things on the website.

Because of this show, any time Indian Wells is mentioned in my hearing, I think, "And there's rain at Indian Wells."

I have nothing useful to say, except that even when reading a recap of a lackluster episode, I am reminded of how much I love this show.

I love the phrase "Syfy’s Asylum era."

"Good thing I don't have dangerous brain powers, or right now you'd be in a thousand little pieces!"

Sure, but when Andy Kaufman lip-syncs, everyone calls him a genius.

That sounds great! I own the Grease novelization and it is crazy nuts.

You should watch "RuPaul's Drag U," in which Drag Race alums teach cis women how to do themselves up drag style.

I love that line. Melissa is just so cheerful when she dismisses any possible problems with this setup.

When "History" first aired, I thought the entire episode was going to be "Starboy and the Captain of Outer Space," I'm still kind of disappointed that they didn't go all the way with having an episode be an entire movie, although I guess they'd want to find a way to shoehorn McGuirk and Paula in.

Johnny Depp comes off GREAT in this movie. As everything collapses around him and things get rescheduled and pushed back, he just shows up, prepared to do his job. He's practically the only reliable part of the whole shoot.

When you're wearing a top hat, you can really get into some misogyny.

May I also suggest "You want me to rape 'em?" (also from this movie, of course)

The whole commentary track is amazing. The director's incredibly defensive and spends a lot of time complaining that people didn't get what he was going for.
