And now thousands of Alt right supporters are bombarding the Oxford English Dictionary demanding that “Snowflake” be added as an official word.

Because she charged them at all. This is the cops/union after all. She played both sides, and poorly I might add based on the evidence. And, she’s a black woman, of course. I’d support her against them.. and she has no right to be in that job anymore since she was part of the cover-up and she knows it. Take a listen

Some people’s inner temperments just shine through. For a good person, a shitty haircut can still look great because they radiate positivity. He radiates fascism, therefore a quasi-hipster haircut looks like it’s from the nazi party

Not unexpected given the chain’s association with crackers.

Yup. You’ve got this. People thinking that the GOP won’t somehow muster votes to pass a heinously evil bill all for the sake of cutting taxes on the wealthy have not been paying attention lately.

I still think it passes, despite all the rhetoric today. It’ll take some time, but it’ll follow a process similar to the House:

Black kids, the game is different for you. Period. This is a perfect example; there were so many ways that dude (another off duty cop acting like God, ugh) could have handled the situation but he chose the “grab the black suspect” route, following his training to perfection. The white friends were never in danger

“And let me save you some keystrokes in the comments: we know NOT ALL WHITE PEOPLE, but I still said what I said.

As bad as this is, it may turn out to be a blessing. Emmett’s murder was a big rallying cry for the civil rights movement. Perhaps having this horrible crime from the past brought back to the spotlight will have similar effects today.

Yeah, that’s the fucking attitude that gets me. “Huh, musta been some of those vandals. Out for a joy ride, just being vandals. Of no particular color or political beliefs. Anyone hungry?”

“Who knows what motivates people to do this?” Hammons said, noting that traffic signs are common targets for vandals and shooters in rural areas. “Vandals have been around since the beginning of time.”

This sounds quite dismissive of the concerns that black and brown LGBTQIA people have about the community they are also a part of.

In uniform, in their official capacity? No. You can be both, but in some spaces one is an imposition.

Now playing

Wait, so white gays don’t really give a shit about anything beyond their narrow self interest? SAY WHAT!?

But it’s always been around. Members of the group that feel marginalized within their own group have to fight back to be heard. The Freedom Democratic Party had to protest at the 1964 Democratic National Convention to have it’s black members seated and this was after Johnson signed the 1964 Civil Rights Act.
