Are we about to witness some sort of bad luck supernova? Alonso and Toyota’s LMP1 at Le Mans, together, at the same time, one driving the other. I full expect a wormhole to open half way down the Mulsanne and deposit them both in a far-off galaxy where everyone else has Mercedes-powered hoverspeeders.

And then they’ll come in 3rd place at Le Mans behind the Vaillante Rebellion and a Ford GT.

Well, it is endurance racing. Sometimes “last man standing” is exactly how it works.

On second thought....what if they lose?

Hey that’s one way to win your first Le Mans! Just keep racing when everyone else quits.

Yes. This and the races they used to do with Clarkson in a car versus Hammond & May in alternative transportation (or some variations thereof to mix it up a bit).

The animal is like 2 people in a horse costume. The back is often not clued into the motives of the front.

I don’t have the attention span for that!

It reminds me of the very early days of cars, when it wasn’t even certain what cars would be fueled by. At the time, gasoline was considered an environmentally friendly solution. Why? Because at the time gasoline was an extremely toxic byproduct of kerosene production (major 19th century industry for use in lamps) for

Not to mention the child labor atrocities going on right now in the cobalt mines:

One day electric car fanatics will realize that electric cars affect the environment too. Today is probably not that day though.
