It’s like AV Club readers have forgotten: it can be two things.
Her brain and lungs had been deprived of air for an hour while trapped inside of her burning car. Not to mention, massive trauma to her sternum and burns to her body. Lots of examples of people continuing to function during states of shock, especially brain trauma, until the body shuts itself down into a coma.
I moved to FL a few years ago after years in the northeast and midwest and people drive absolutely insane down here. Funny thing is they blame it (and everything else) on snowbirds/transplants from NY. I try to explain that 90% of people in Manhattan don’t have driver’s licenses but you can’t tell FL Man nothing…
AVC articles are mostly created by an AI so they fucking miss those opportunities.
The use of deepfake technology in film has skyrocketed in recent years, with it being used to give us an off-putting de-aged Luke Skywalker, as well as bring back actors from the dead like with Paul Walker’s posthumous appearance in Fast Seven.
Put it in H!
Maybe I don’t remember the last time I blew my nose either.
I think the news vendor appears in the extended cut, but just more proof that it should have been a miniseries (you know, like HBO’s Watchmen).
oh gotcha, I misread.
I disagree that Batman wouldn’t work in a larger universe. I thought he worked along side everyone in Justice League fine, the problem was making him all cynical and gun-shooty with p r e m o n i t i o n s.

I think it’s funny how popular the term “gaslighting” has become over the past 5 years (with good cause, unfortunately), yet many people still don’t know how to apply it.
We all know this about the Scooby movie. It’s in every article in every media outlet.
It’s a strange bit of corporate gaslighting to pretend we weren’t all around for the attempted Zack Snyder-verse.
Agree, I find the blow back Marvel occasionally gets for the interconnected universe they’ve built is kind of funny. I first recall reading complaints when Tony Stark played a large role in Spider-Man Homecoming (even though we already had FIVE solo Spider-Man movies). Have people forgotten how cool it is that these…
I’m an animator and watch way too many cartoons, so HBO Max’s CN and DC hubs are my jam. I’m not ready to throw flowers on the network just yet, but I am glad season 2 of Primal is done and ready to air before Zaslav can touch it.
They’d be fools to dilute the HBO brand, it probably carries more recognition that even Warner Bros. If Discovery didn’t want scripted TV, why buy a studio with the most well-known home of scripted prestige shows? Makes more sense to offer a bundle similar to Disney+/Hulu/espn rather than contaminate HBO with Naked…
The Scooby movie team also released a statement.
