Christopher Plummer would still make a pretty good Flash.

Well, it’s not “more” like, I was speaking to Burton’s deliberate design choices for his adaptation of Batman.

Even Zack Snyder’s detractors will admit his DC casting was pretty flawless...except for Miller. I’m not sure what Snyder saw in Miller, or what his concept of Barry Allen was, but I always thought they were pretty miscast in the role. I get Snyder’s Barry is young and just getting started, and Miller fared much

Well, I’m willing to admit it when I’m wrong - seems like this was a legit tantrum. Stunk of a stunt to me at first since it was so silly and off-brand - who better to walk away unscathed from it than the guy who won an Oscar after 5 years of bad movies?

The censor delay just reminded me of the reason for it - Janet Jackson “wardrobe malfunction” and what everyone, including people who didn’t watch the Super Bowl, were talking about the next day. The GI Jane thing goes back to 2016, just seems really odd Chris Rock would just happen to go to that well again.

I actually typed it.

Or because the whole thing was staged? Anyone really think Chris Rock is still doing GI Jane jokes?

or any character as Lecter.

I was kind of hoping they’d shelve Joker until at least the 3rd installment (assuming this series goes that far). There are plenty of other characters to explore, and we’ve had Ledger, Leto, Gotham Joker, Phoenix, just in the past 15 years.

I recall reading William Holden, while at home alone, fell down and hit his head. But he had just poured himself another drink so he sat down to finish it and died (not sure if he finished the drink).

My mom took a spill on carpet 15 years ago when she was in her early 60s. She looked fine, but luckily my dad was there and took her to the doctor. She ended up having skull/brain surgery due to the swelling between the brain and the skull and now has a metal plate in her head.

Ok, so I’m caught up. Episode 01 was abysmal. Episode 02 was better, but still bad - the number of camera angles in some scenes was headache inducing. Episode 03 finally had some room to breath, it felt close to classic L&O. They still need to tone down the dramatic music but I’m hopeful the show has its legs back.

Episode 2 was better, but not great. Episode 3 finally felt like old-school L&O, the case had a chance to breath.

L&O only mixed up the cold open with a preview of the victim before discovery in the final 5 seasons. The latest 2 episodes thankfully restored the random discovery.

I recall reading a preview of the L&O reboot and Anderson said he just happened to be wrapping up Blackish when he read Dick Wolf was dusting off L&O and reached out that he was about to be available.

Season 6 was a drop (the never-ending saga of Bishop, Gary is an alien, John is an addict, etc), but this season has been a bit of a slog.

I was a big fan of the 1980s Hobgoblin story, which Marvel famously bungled by having The Foreigner easily assassinate Ned Leeds’ Hobgoblin. It took 10 years for Marvel to ret-con it and make Ned Leeds a patsy, because that reveal was so stupid.

It’s what happens when you have a really great impressionist and no concept. A mimic is impressive, but don’t forget the jokes, people.

Meatball sketch was the only one that stood out for me, even though I give Isaacs a ton of credit for being all in. The Aidy Bryant sketch was a dumb concept stretched for way too long.

Pretty easy to argue against that, actually.
