As multiple outlets report, a missing man in Barcelona was discovered dead within a large, papier-mâché Stegosaurus statue outside a city suburb’s closed-down movie theater on Sunday.

I wondered if it was meant to be a joke on how Hollywood, with a few exceptions, gets the Kennedys so wrong so often, especially Bobby (Barry Pepper? John Shea? Zeljko Ivanek? Peter Sarsgaard?). Even when they do get it right, the Boston accent is notoriously hard to nail for actors.

I always appreciate Legends’ revolving door of characters, it keep the show fresh and gives characters actual character arcs that don’t all end in death. And I like Behrad, but he just doesn’t click as a main Legend for some reason. He’s very likeable but just not that interesting, the stoner comedy and

In the two recent Aretha projects, Marc Maron and David Cross portray Jerry Wexler. I wonder if they traded notes.

Williamsburg near Bedford was my worst nightmare when I lived in Brooklyn, so maybe we have an unreliable narrator.

As an illustrator and animator, I’ve always cringed at 3D adaptations of 2D characters. Linework and flat shapes just don’t translate into a 3D turnaround, especially giant, bulging Simpsons-style eyes. It ends up looking like horrifying merchandise come to life.

The original edit of the opening of Star Wars cuts back and forth between Luke and the droids. It’s pretty jarring. Helps to have talented friends like DePalma to bounce things off of.

I read somewhere that Lucas had a 6-film story for the gang, and that recovering Han and battling Boba Fett was supposed to be the entire 3rd film. But apparently he was so burnt out on Star Wars so he wrapped up the entire story in Jedi. It shows, I can’t think of another film - maybe Full Metal Jacket - that is

Makes me wonder how this hasn’t become a weekly part of SNL

I agree, I’m always kind of rooting for her. A lot of impressionists lean on the impression to do the work and forget the joke, but she usually has some fun material. I also read this entire interview in her voice, probably because I’ve heard it so much from watching too much Adventure Time
