We were all concerned with the wrong throne!

I predict that after going crazy, Daenerys will have Aegon her face.

King’s Landing used to be cool, man, before the gendryfication.

I know this is a running joke these days what with BvS and Gotham, but when Batman Begins came out one of the selling points was that it finally staged Batman’s origin on film. They flashed back to Crime Alley briefly in Burton’s BATMAN and featured a young Bruce to a lesser extent in Mask of the Phantasm, but

later in his career, DC did toss Kirby a bone with the Super Powers toys and comics. Also, Superman The Animated Series had a nice tribute to Kirby by modeling Dan Turpin after him. The character’s funeral even included character modeled after his Marvel creations and the episode was dedicated to him.

I don’t think you can do that with Batman, just brush him aside. What they could have done to avoid the character existing in the shadow of the male OG was PICK A CHARACTER THAT IS HER OWN O.G.! I know Batman sells, but I’d watch a Big Barda or Catwoman or Huntress or show. If they hadn’t screwed the pooch with

Uh, chill. I’m not arguing that Netflix isn’t aware of the increased streaming competition and are raising their game with even more original content, that was my point and a thing I said in the first place. I was legitimately asking what upcoming Netflix shows people were jonesing for since several popular Netflix s

The point being they will have to raise their game. I’m not getting rid of Netflix anytime soon, but it’s not the automatic king of streaming that it used to be with so many competing platforms launching.

One of the selling points of Netflix when it was a disc service was that it had (nearly) everything available. They slowly increased their streaming catalogue after debuting one of the first streaming platforms, but that catalogue has gotten whittled down in recent years (or buried under a mountain of interchangeable n

In addition to Season 2, Season 5 is also a high point. Prometheus was my favorite villain on the show.

Kind of crazy that he has been Bond for 15 years. They went from rebooting a young, rookie Bond in Casino Royale to a washed up agent in Skyfall just two films later, and retiring in SPECTRE. I’m not sure where they go, dude is 51 years young (same age as Moore when he made Spy Who Loved Me). Say what you will about Qu

Tom Cavanaugh’s Harry Wells steely evil was a lot of fun in Season 1, and he’s been having fun as all of the other Wellses since, but Matt Letscher’s Thawne was so good with Darhk and Merlyn on Legends.

Yes, but most of the rapey soldiers they show are not Dothrak (definitely not unsullied). I’m just saying, this show can’t turn down a rapeortunity.

So, like, the White Walkers maybe had a point is what you’re saying?

Denerys’ heal turn was a little rushed, but how about how quick the majority of her soldiers gleefully turn into rapists?

they always talk about stories in terms of arcs

I’m old enough to say “ravening it in”

I was actually wondering the opposite.

This is why I will never give up on physical media.

Seeing these later seasons of GoT makes me dread what those two will do to Star Wars.
